Cell Phone Policy

To help campers build team spirit, make new friends, and enjoy being fully present at camp, cell phone use is limited.

When phones may be used:

• Campers may make phone calls or send texts only while in their dorms
  
• Extended Day campers may use phones during scheduled rest time only
  

Phones may not be used during training sessions, meals, team activities, or free play.

Photos & Social Media

• Taking photos or videos of any kind (including selfies) is not allowed
  
• Posting photos or videos from camp is also prohibited
  
• Violations may result in the phone being held by staff or, in serious cases, dismissal from camp
  

Why we limit phone use:
Soccer camp is about teamwork, confidence, and connection. Limiting phones helps campers:

• Communicate and bond with teammates
  
• Build independence
  
• Address concerns directly with coaches or our Health Care Supervisors
  
• Stay focused, safe, and engaged on and off the field
  

Excessive phone use can:

• Expose campers to age-inappropriate content
  
• Create distractions or conflicts within groups
  
• Encourage bullying or other inappropriate behavior
