Code of Conduct Policy
Our goal is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where every camper feels valued and respected. To make sure everyone has a positive camp experience, we ask campers and families to review and follow these guidelines:
Personal Conduct:
-
Show good sportsmanship and respect to fellow campers, staff, and the environment. Embrace differences and celebrate diversity.
-
Be inclusive and make sure no one is left out, both on and off the field.
-
Use language that is respectful and free from mean, rude, inappropriate or offensive terms or profanity.
-
Pay attention when others speak and value their opinions. You may disagree but you must be respectful.
-
Respect personal space. Do not enter another’s personal space without permission.
-
Your uniform is to be worn in an appropriate manner with shirts tucked in and socks pulled up.
-
Wear attire suitable for camp activities. Clothing displaying lewd, suggestive, or hateful messages, or references to alcohol or drugs, is not permitted.
Bullying and Harassment:
-
Bullying, harassment, or any form of intimidation is strictly prohibited. This includes: name calling and teasing, hitting, pushing or shoving, and any other unwanted, aggressive behavior, both verbal and physical.
-
If you witness or experience bullying or harassment, report it to a coach or staff member immediately. It is ok to ask for help, in fact you are helping to keep camp safe for everyone.
Safety:
-
Ensure your actions do not endanger yourself or others.
-
Remain with your assigned group and follow staff instructions.
-
If you see something or feel that someone or something may be putting you or others in danger, inform a coach or staff member immediately.
